Premiere of the PAF Documentary Series, Episode 2

What Can the Internet and the Performing Arts Learn From Each Other?

The PAF Documentary Series, using short (artistic) statements, provides insight into the current situation of independent artists and theater makers and provides a good look at the strength of the performing arts. The multiple episodes created by the filmmaker Paula Reissig brings their perspectives in this document of our current time together.

On the third day of the festival, the second episode of the PAF Documentary Series will be premiered, in which the artists and performance venues of the festival dedicate themselves to the question: What can the internet and the performing arts learn from each other?

Afterwards, Fernanda Parente (curator, concept developer, entrepreneur and instructor in the fields of art, culture and technology) invites the audience to journey with her into a world of virtual reality (VR) where they will talk about extended reality narratives together with Anke Schiemann (media artist and filmmaker) and Marcel Karnapke (co-founder of CyberRäuber).

Livestream: May 21, 2020 from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm.
Takes place in English and German.
