Pfefferberg Theater

Pfefferberg Theater, which is part of the VIA Verbund für Integrative Angebote Berlin gGmbH, is an inclusive company where people with and without disabilities master the diverse tasks of a theater company. Originally founded for purely spoken theater it has developed into a multi-divisional institution focusing on contemporary dance, theater and new circus under the direction of Christine Ritter. For families, schools and daycare centers, Pfefferberg Theater offers a wide range of artistic and musical performances as well as performances in English. The regular readings by prominent authors round out the schedule of programming and have made the theater known far beyond Prenzlauer Berg. Pfefferberg Theater is an open insitution with the goal of portraying the diversity of society in all its facets on stage. The annual Parieté-Gala is an impressive achievement, a cultural event where artists with and without so-called disabilities stand together on stage.

Barrier-free access to Pfefferberg Theater is available via the entrance on Christinenstraße or via the elevator (until midnight) located on Schönhauser Allee at the entrance to Pfefferberg Theater.
